Custom Beach Flags Printing | Indoor & Outdoor

Custom printed beach flags attract attention at entrances, along walkways and at events. They are lightweight, quick to assemble and easy to reposition, making them ideal for promotions, open days, trade fairs, festivals, shops and business premises.

Choose from several shapes and sizes to suit your message, viewing distance and available space. Complete your beach flag with the appropriate base for indoor use, hard surfaces, grass or sand.

Why choose printed beach flags?

  • Highly visible at entrances, events and promotional locations
  • Quick to assemble and compact to transport in a carrying bag
  • Available in several shapes and sizes
  • Suitable bases for indoor and outdoor surfaces
  • Replacement flag fabrics can be ordered for new campaigns
  • Full-colour printing with your logo or custom design

Choose the right beach flag model

Each beach flag shape has its own appearance and practical advantages. A straight model provides a large, clearly defined print area, while Drop and Wave models create a more dynamic silhouette. The Square model combines a straight design with extra space for a broader message.

  • Beach Flag Straight: a clean, rectangular model with plenty of space for text, images and promotional messages.
  • Beach Flag Square: a wide rectangular shape that provides additional space for a broad design.
  • Beach Flag Drop: a compact teardrop shape that remains tensioned and works particularly well with logos and short messages.
  • Beach Flag Wave: a flowing, distinctive shape that creates additional visual impact in busy surroundings.
  • Mini Beach Flag: a compact tabletop model for counters, desks, reception areas and exhibition stands.

Beach flag materials

Select the material according to the location, frequency of use and required durability. The available options depend on the selected model and size.

  • Flag: lightweight standard flag fabric for regular or temporary promotional use.
  • Flag PET: a more sustainable flag fabric made from recycled PET bottles.
  • Flag Longlife: a stronger fabric with a special structure that helps reduce fraying and is particularly suitable for prolonged outdoor use.

The design is normally printed on one side using sublimation printing. The ink penetrates the fabric, allowing the design to remain visible in mirror image on the reverse.

Tunnel or elastic band

The edge that slides over the beach flag pole can be finished with a fabric tunnel or an elastic band. A printed tunnel allows the design to continue towards the pole and creates a seamless appearance. An elastic band, available in black or white, provides additional strength and can help extend the life of the flag.

Choose the right beach flag base

The correct base depends on the surface and whether the beach flag will be used indoors or outdoors. A stable base and a suitable rotator allow the flag to move with the wind and reduce unnecessary strain on the pole and fabric.

  • Grass or soft ground: use a ground spike.
  • Sand: choose a ground screw or another base intended for loose surfaces.
  • Paving or concrete: use a base plate, cross base with water bag or another weighted base.
  • Indoor floors: a flat base plate or cross base is usually the most practical solution.

For large beach flags used with a parasol base, a rotator may be required. Always check the available accessories and recommendations on the relevant product page.

Where should you position a beach flag?

Place beach flags near entrances, alongside walking routes or at locations where visitors naturally slow down. Two matching flags on either side of an entrance can create additional recognition and a professional arrival point.

  • Use one short and clear headline
  • Choose strong colour contrast for readability from a distance
  • Position your logo around eye level
  • Keep important text away from the pole tunnel and edges
  • Avoid small text that becomes difficult to read while the flag is moving

Create a complete promotional presentation

Beach flags work well as attention-grabbers outside an entrance or event area. Add roll-up banners indoors when you need more space for product information or instructions.

For permanent visibility on a building, consider facade flags. You can also combine beach flags with pavement signs to display changing offers or additional information near the entrance.

Order custom beach flags online

Select the desired model, size, fabric, finish and base, then upload your own artwork. If you want to use the same hardware for another campaign, you can often order a replacement fabric separately and continue using the existing pole and base.

Frequently asked questions

Which beach flag shape should I choose?

Choose Straight or Square when you need a large, clearly defined area for text and images. A Drop flag has a compact teardrop shape and works well with logos and short messages. Wave creates a more dynamic silhouette. A Mini Beach Flag is intended for tables, counters and reception desks.

Which base do I need for my beach flag?

Use a ground spike on grass or soft ground. For paving and concrete, choose a weighted base plate or cross base with a water bag. A flat base plate or cross base is usually suitable indoors. The available options depend on the selected model and size.

What is the difference between Flag, Flag PET and Flag Longlife?

Flag is the standard lightweight material for regular or temporary use. Flag PET is made from recycled PET bottles and is the more sustainable option. Flag Longlife has a stronger structure that reduces fraying and is better suited to prolonged outdoor use.

Can beach flags be used outdoors?

Yes. Beach flags are suitable for indoor and outdoor use when combined with the correct base. Take the flag indoors during strong winds, storms or severe weather to prevent unnecessary wear and damage.

Is the print visible on both sides?

The fabric is normally printed on one side. Because the ink penetrates the material, the design is also visible on the reverse in mirror image. Keep this in mind when using text, logos or directional symbols.

Can I replace only the printed fabric?

Yes, replacement fabrics can be ordered for many beach flag systems. You can retain the pole and base and replace only the printed fabric when your campaign, promotion or branding changes. Always select a fabric that matches the existing pole shape and size.

How do I supply my beach flag artwork?

Use the artwork template for the selected shape and size and preferably supply a print-ready PDF. Include the required bleed and keep important text and logos within the safe area and away from the pole tunnel.

How do I assemble a beach flag?

Connect the pole sections, slide the fabric over the pole through the tunnel and secure the lower tensioning cord or mechanism. Finally, place the pole in the selected base and check that the flag can rotate freely.

How long does a beach flag last?

Its lifespan depends on the material, weather conditions and frequency of use. Flag Longlife is the strongest option for regular outdoor use. Bringing the flag indoors during strong winds and storing it clean and dry will help extend its lifespan.

How can I make my beach flag easy to read?

Use one clear headline, a recognisable logo and strong contrast. Avoid small text and excessive detail. Position the most important information at eye level and allow enough space around the edges and pole tunnel.
