Panel material

Choose from one of five different types of materials. Below, we briefly explain the properties per material type.

Forex
Forex is a lightweight panel made of foamed PVC, ideal for indoor use.

Dibond®
Dibond® is one of the most sold types of panels. The Dibond advertising sign has an aluminum core and white top layer. It is dimensionally stable and suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Easyprint
Easyprint is a lightweight and sturdy sheet material made of polypropylene.

HPL
Need a strong advertising sign for heavy-duty applications? Then choose an advertising sign made of HPL. The strong HPL panel with a brown core and white top layer is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Channel Plate
Plastic channel plate for indoor and outdoor use. The flexible composition of this material makes it extremely suitable for folding the advertising sign.

Akylite
Akylite is known for its lightweight and sturdy properties. An Akylite advertising sign is one (with a honeycomb core) that is also PVC-free. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Sign Again®
Looking for a sustainable variant? Then choose circular material made from used banners and cutting waste. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, impact-resistant and bendable.

Single-sided or double-sided printing

When ordering your advertising sign, you can choose single-sided or double-sided printing in the configurator. Ideal if you want to show the print on the advertising sign on both sides. Please note: not every type of sheet material (as described above) is available for double-sided printed advertising signs.

Why choose a coating?
A maximum lifespan is guaranteed by the optional coating. Thanks to the coating, the color intensity is not only increased, but the print is also better resistant to various environmental factors.

Which types of coatings are available?
Amstel Printing supplies advertising signs with a matte or glossy coating.

What effect does the type of coating have on the printing?
With a matte coating, the appearance of the print is slightly duller, but the text is more readable. The effect of a glossy coating is that it can shine slightly. On the other hand, the colors are clearer and more powerful than with a matte coating.

What is the difference in appearance between a glossy and matte coating?
With a glossy coating, you get clear and powerful colors, but the surface has a slight glare. A matte coating gives a slightly duller image, but the texts are actually more readable.
