Custom printed wallpaper can completely transform an interior. Use a photograph, illustration, pattern or branded design to turn a plain wall into a professional feature wall. It is an effective solution for offices, shops, restaurants, hotels, showrooms, meeting rooms and public spaces.
At Amstel Printing, you can choose between seamless photo wallpaper, wallpaper supplied in manageable strips and self-adhesive wallpaper circles. The best option depends on the size of the wall, the required appearance, the surface and how you intend to install it.
Choose seamless photo wallpaper when you want one large, uninterrupted image without visible joins. Depending on the selected material, it can be produced in one piece at widths of up to approximately 4.96 metres.
This makes seamless wallpaper suitable for large photographs, branded feature walls, illustrations and designs containing important elements that should not be interrupted by seams. It is frequently used in reception areas, meeting rooms, restaurants, hotels, shops and exhibition environments.
Different materials are available for different applications:
The exact maximum dimensions and fire classification vary by material. Check the specifications on the product page before choosing a material for a large wall or public space.
Our custom wallpaper rolls are supplied in numbered strips. Your complete design is divided into the selected strip width, making the sections easier to position and apply individually.
You can choose between strip widths of 53 or 70 centimetres. A width of 53 centimetres is convenient in smaller rooms or around obstacles. Wider 70-centimetre strips cover a large wall more quickly and require fewer joins.
The available wallpaper materials offer different appearances:
Wallpaper rolls are a practical choice for repeat patterns, multiple adjoining walls and projects where applying one very large piece would be difficult. Because the strips are numbered, it remains clear in which order they should be installed.
A custom wallpaper circle adds a decorative accent without covering the entire wall. Use a photograph, logo, quote, illustration or pattern to create a striking focal point in a reception area, shop, waiting room, office or hospitality interior.
Wallpaper circles are self-adhesive and available in different materials. DOT White is easy to apply thanks to its dot adhesive structure, Roughmark offers stronger adhesion for more challenging surfaces, and Gekkotex has a soft, matt textile appearance.
The wallpaper circles are available in different sizes up to 148 × 148 centimetres. Always choose the material according to the surface and required application period.
Also consider the wall condition, required fire classification, expected service life, ease of installation and whether the material needs to be scratch-resistant, washable or PVC-free.
A smooth, clean and dry surface provides the best result. Remove old wallpaper, loose paint, dust, grease, nails and visible irregularities. Fill holes and cracks and allow any filler, plaster or paint to dry completely.
Highly absorbent surfaces such as untreated plaster or concrete may require primer before installation. The appropriate wallpaper adhesive depends on both the selected material and the wall surface. Check the product instructions or contact us if you are unsure which primer or adhesive to use.
Measure the wall at several points because walls, floors and ceilings are not always perfectly straight. For seamless wallpaper, we recommend adding approximately 5 centimetres of margin on every side. This provides enough material to trim the wallpaper neatly after installation.
Also mark the position of windows, doors, sockets, switches and permanent wall fittings. Avoid positioning faces, logos or important text directly against an edge or across a difficult obstacle.
Supply your artwork at the correct proportions and use images with sufficient resolution for the final dimensions. Keep essential text, logos and faces away from the outer edges and account for the required cutting margin.
For wallpaper rolls, the design is automatically divided into strips. For seamless wallpaper, make sure the composition works across the complete wall. Always consult the current artwork specifications on the product page before submitting your file.
Wallpaper is ideal for creating a permanent visual foundation. If you also want to display messages or campaigns that change regularly, combine it with products from our wall decoration range.
An interchangeable textile frame can be updated without replacing the wallpaper, while dimensional letters can add depth to a company name or logo. This allows you to combine atmosphere, branding and flexible communication within one interior.
Not sure whether seamless wallpaper, wallpaper rolls or a wallpaper circle is best for your wall? We will help you select the right material, dimensions, adhesive and installation method.
Seamless photo wallpaper is produced in one large piece within the maximum dimensions of the selected material. Wallpaper rolls divide your design into numbered strips of 53 or 70 centimetres wide. Rolls are easier to handle individually, while seamless wallpaper produces an uninterrupted image.
Seamless photo wallpaper is generally the best option when you want a large photograph or design without visible joins. The maximum width varies by material, so check the dimensions before selecting your wallpaper.
For seamless photo wallpaper, we recommend adding approximately 5 centimetres on every side. This provides sufficient trimming margin if the floor, ceiling or adjoining walls are not completely straight.
A clean, dry and smooth wall gives the best result. Repair holes, cracks and obvious irregularities before installation. Some heavier materials can compensate for minor imperfections, but they cannot conceal every uneven area.
The appropriate adhesive depends on the wallpaper and wall surface. Absorbent surfaces such as plaster or concrete may require primer and a different adhesive from non-absorbent surfaces such as coated panels or doors. Follow the instructions for the selected material.
Several wallpaper materials have a fire classification and are suitable for commercial and public interiors. The exact certification varies by material, so verify the specification required for your building or project before ordering.
Several materials are water-repellent or resistant to dirt and can be cleaned carefully. Cleaning instructions differ by material. Avoid aggressive cleaning products and always follow the maintenance recommendations shown for the selected wallpaper.
Yes. Upload your own photograph, illustration, pattern or branded design. Use a file with sufficient resolution for the final wall dimensions and keep important elements away from cutting edges and obstacles.
Installation is possible yourself, but large seamless wallpaper is easier to position with at least two people. Prepare the wall carefully, use the correct adhesive and tools, and check the complete print before applying it.
